Join the Movement for
Disability Inclusive Curriculum
We are building a national network of supporters to advocate that the schools in their neighborhood teach Disability Inclusive Curriculum.
We will coach a network of disabled people as trainers to give schools professional development to implement the curriculum.
How can you be involved?
Organizations that have disabled consumers may become members for $50 a month or $600 a year.
Other organizations and businesses can sponsor this program to cover the cost for disabled advocates.
Members and their consumers will receive:
A monthly newsletter with national updates which you may share with your consumers
A weekly online meeting space to ask questions and share ideas for
your consumersGuidance on creating legislation in your state
Support creating state/local specific lesson plans and aligning them
to national standardsTraining on the “Do’s and Don'ts” when visiting a classroom for your consumers
Training on Advocacy for the curriculum but also general training which advocates can apply to issues they choose.
A training the trainer course so we can bring professional development to schools and school districts in your area.
All of the above training will lead to income generation for your center.
